Images of Tasmania

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sue Pickering after a long and courageous fight with cancer. Sue was involved with Images of Tasmania since its inception.

Sue passed away one week after her last printing session in the studio at Fern Tree. As she left the studio she gazed southwards from Mount Wellington at the clouds and light over Bruny Island and said, “I just love to be alive” and we know that everyone in her wide sphere of influence will mourn this generous, talented and insightful artist.

Images 19 honoured Sue's beautiful work and life with a dedicated wall at the entrance to the exhibition.
