Lola trained as an art teacher with the original Images cohort. She taught in several southern Tasmanian high schools, and then returned to study, gaining her BFA majoring in painting and printmaking. Lola exhibited in group and solo shows in Tasmania and Victoria, including Images, and was a member of Chameleon, Suntithenai, and Ferntree Artmakers. She had residencies at Cité des arts and Fahan School. Her work is held in the National Gallery of Australia, TMAG and in private collections.
Lola was generous with her knowledge, and very supportive of other artists. Her work is about her environment (both emotional and physical) and the people in it.
